Where are all the pictures???

No camera = no posts. I have misplaced my camera so I'm getting a new one. I'm ordering it today. So don't fear! The pictures will be back soon - probably more than you can handle!

Quick update - Addison made it through the first week of daycare. I think she handled it well. She's been coming home in a good mood, but has been a little tired earlier than usual. I'm sure she's just adjusting. The girls have her sleeping in her crib for naps and I don't think she's been too cranky during the day. I was able to go by there 3 times last week to see her. It's still hard to drop her off everyday, but it's a little easier than last week.

Tears...

It's a hard and sad day for Mommy and Daddy. Addison started daycare today. I thought I would be okay, but I couldn't make it out of the driveway without crying. Michael and I are really comfortable with the church and have no reason to worry, but it's still hard leaving her. I'm hoping once I make it through the first week I'll be okay. I'm going to go visit her at lunch to see how she's doing. I think if I see that she is happy I'll do better.

On a good note, Addison had her 3 month check up on Friday. She weighed in at 13 lbs, 3 ozs (75th percentile) and is 25 inches long (95th percentile). The doc was surprised when we told her that Addison has been rolling over both ways for a couple of weeks now. Looks like we have a super smart girl on our hands (parents bias opinion, of course). Dr. Cooper says that she is doing great! Can't ask for anything more than that. I had Addison laughing again last night. It's the cutest thing. She is such a happy baby and loves to smile.

*** Happy Birthday Michael! It's been another great year. So much has happen...all for the better. You're such a loving husband and father. Addison and I are both so lucky. I hope you have a great day. We love you!

3 months oldAnd we love her more and more each day. It's amazing how much she changes and all the things she can do.

She rolls over both ways
She coo's and caa's
She smiles and laughs
She falls asleep on her own
She sleeps from 8 to 5 and again until 7
She sucks her fingers
She kicks with excitement when she swats at her toys
She follows you with her eyes
She pulls on mommy's hair
Happy 3 months Addison! Mommy and Daddy love you!

Another first - laughing

Three months must be the magic number for new things. Addison laughed out loud tonight...for her daddy of course. He was singing to her and giving her kisses and there it was - the cutest little laugh. I loved it! I'm sure I'll try to get it on tape. New pictures added to shutterfly.

As promised...Addison's new jumperoo. She's been so good at holding her head up and this has opened up a whole new world for her. Her toes barely touch the floor so we had to put a small box under her so she can jump. Tonight was the first time I caught her actually reaching for the toys. She's still a little too small so her arms tend to fall down in the seat, but she's working on that.
Meet 'Gracie' the lamb. I introduced Addison to Gracie a couple of days ago and she loves it. She likes to grab Gracie and then roll to her side while holding her. Too cute.
Addison loves her daddy. Michael took this while playing with her last week. She lights up when he enters the room and will follow him throughout the house. I'm so jealous.

Here is Addison rolling over. We love her more than words.

Addison hates tummy time!

So what does she do to get out of it? She rolls over! She's been rolling over from back to front for about a week now, but only in her crib at night. But on Saturday she rolled over from front to back and she meant to do it (wasn't just an accident). She did it several times and I even got it on tape (I'll post that and some pics tonight). She's still sleeping good at night - going to bed around 8 and sleeping til about 6 or 7 with only one feeding in between. Her new thing is grabbing and tasting just about anything you put in her reach. We've introduced her to a lot of new toys over the past week - bumbo seat, jumperoo and her favorite stuffed animal. Don't worry...I have pictures at home of all of the above. Will post tonight!

My new favorite picture!

Addison went to her first pool party on Saturday. I took this on the way to Scott and Kara's. I love the bubbles she's been making lately.
Even though her pediatrician told us "putting your child in a pool is like dipping her in bleach", we put her in anyways...just for a couple of minutes. She seemed to like it though you can't tell in this picture. I love my baby girl so much. I can't believe how big she is getting. She now likes to nap with me on the couch. It's our new weekend thing to do. Being back at work is going good. It just makes every minute I spend with her that much more special.
