Happy Mother's Day
...to me! My first Mother's Day and it was a great day. Michael and Addison gave me a nice watch, a CD, and a carrot cake. And, I got to take a long nap with one of my favorite people.
Thing are going great! Addison has been sleeping in her room the past 3 nights, but not in her crib. Baby steps. We moved the bassinet in there to start the transition. She did really well sleeping for about 3 hours at a time. Today she has been awake almost all day so maybe she'll sleep better tonight than she did last night. Her days and nights are still switched, but I think she's getting better. My mom and Jim were here this past weekend to visit. They haven't seen her since she was 5 days old. It was fun for them to see how much she has changed. She was so alert and got to play with Grandma.

Addison will be one month old tomorrow. Boy does time fly...
