One year stats

Addison had her one year appt on Monday. She got to stand on the big girl scale and weighed in at 20 lbs even (30th percentile). She was 30 inches long (80th percentile) and is still on the way to being long and lean. They checked her vision - which was great - and tried to check her hearing but she still had a little fluid on her ears. She got two shots while we were there - Prevnar in her leg and the MMR in her arm. I know there's been a lot of talk about the MMR and autism recently, but I decided to get it. I discussed it with the doc who assured me the shot does not have the Mercury and Thermisol which are supposed to be the cause. I'm such a natural worrier as it is that I just couldn't read too much into the studies. I trust our doctor to recommend what's best. Addison did great with both. She only cries for 30 seconds and then she's over it. We go back in 3 months for another checkup.

Here are some randoms pics of Addison's many faces - after dinner, lounging in her rocker and after the photo shoot a couple of weeks ago. She looks so tired and miserable in the last one, but still sweet as can be. Happy Friday!

***New 12 month album added to Shutterfly. Tons of party pics included. I have much more to add so check back.

Ross, Erin, Eva, & Reid said...

What cracks me up is Addison is 20 lbs. and Reid isn't even 6 months old and already 18 lb. 5 oz.! Eva is following in her footsteps though- she's only 13 lb. 9 oz. At least it's the little girls who are the little bits. Thanks for the support on going back to work. I know they will be fine and I'll actually be better for it, but it's just the transition after being home with them for 5 1/2 months...
